CardCraft : Personal Greetings vs Selling Pointfor Shopify (2026)
CardCraft : Personal Greetings and Selling Point are both Shopify apps listed in the 'Gifts' category, but they address vastly different needs. CardCraft focuses on enhancing the gift-giving experience for customers by allowing them to add personalized digital or printed greeting cards to their orders. This app aims to increase customer satisfaction and generate incremental revenue for merchants through greeting card sales. In contrast, Selling Point tackles the challenge of migrating existing gift card or store credit balances from other platforms or POS systems to Shopify. Its core function is to streamline the process of transferring these credits, saving merchants time and potential development costs associated with manual migration or custom app development. This positions it as a tool for established businesses transitioning to Shopify or consolidating their operations.

Our Verdict
CardCraft is best suited for Shopify merchants whose business model revolves around gifting and want to offer a more personalized experience to their customers. The value lies in increased customer satisfaction and the potential for extra revenue generation through upselling greeting cards. However, the low rating and small number of reviews should raise caution. On the other hand, Selling Point is ideal for businesses migrating to Shopify or consolidating their gift card programs. It streamlines the often tedious process of transferring gift card balances, saving significant time and resources. The high rating and number of reviews indicate a reliable and effective solution. For a new Shopify store or a store not heavily focused on gifting, Selling Point provides a much more direct and immediate return on investment, while CardCraft may need additional due diligence before implementation.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Selling Point likely offers a quicker initial setup, focused on data migration. CardCraft, with its design and fulfillment aspects, may involve a more complex setup process.
Does CardCraft handle the printing and shipping of printed greeting cards?
The description implies that CardCraft offers the *option* of printed cards, but doesn't explicitly state who handles fulfillment. This would need clarification from the app developers.
Can Selling Point create new gift cards, or only migrate existing ones?
Selling Point can generate new gift cards for marketing promotions, in addition to migrating existing ones.
What are the costs associated with each app?
Pricing information is not provided in the descriptions, but will be a crucial factor in the decision-making process. Trial periods and per-card charges should be considered.
Which app has better customer support?
CardCraft claims to have 24/7 support, while Selling Point doesn't explicitly mention support. However, Selling Point's significantly higher rating and review count *may* indicate better overall support based on customer experience. Further investigation is warranted for CardCraft's support claims.
