Our Verdict
For merchants struggling with complex product hierarchies and seeking to boost their internal SEO while maintaining a clean, uncluttered navigation, Catalinks might be the better choice, assuming the lack of reviews is due to it being a new app. However, the absence of any user feedback is a significant risk. KOBU ‑ Menu Highlight is better suited for merchants prioritizing visual appeal and easy, intuitive navigation, especially on mobile devices, to showcase specific products and collections. The existing positive reviews for KOBU lend it more credibility. If visual merchandising and conversion rate optimization are key, KOBU is likely the stronger contender. However, SEO remains a secondary benefit for KOBU users.
