Our Verdict
The choice between Census: Customer Surveys and OC Meta Pixel Facebook Pixels hinges entirely on the merchant's primary goal. If the priority is understanding customers better and improving products/services through direct feedback, Census is the clear choice. However, for merchants heavily invested in Facebook and TikTok advertising, particularly those struggling with ad tracking accuracy due to ad blockers or iOS updates, OC Meta Pixel Facebook Pixels provides essential tools to optimize campaigns and maximize return on ad spend. A merchant who is not running facebook/tiktok ads would get no value from OC Meta Pixel Facebook Pixels, and Census will provide value to any business that wants to understand its customers better. A business that can only select one app will have to decide if getting feedback from customers or maximizing the money it spends on Facebook/TikTok ads is a higher priority.
