ChatBot by Text vs EZLabel: Australia Post Shipfor Shopify (2026)
ChatBot by Text and EZLabel: Australia Post Ship, despite sharing the 'Orders' category on Shopify, address fundamentally different needs. ChatBot by Text focuses on improving customer engagement and boosting sales through automated support and personalized product recommendations. Its core value proposition lies in providing a 24/7 virtual assistant to streamline the customer journey, from pre-sale product discovery to post-sale order tracking. Conversely, EZLabel: Australia Post Ship streamlines the order fulfillment process specifically for merchants utilizing Australia Post MyPost Business. It aims to save time and reduce manual effort associated with shipping label creation and order tracking. The primary divergence lies in their target audiences and functional applications. ChatBot by Text targets merchants seeking to enhance customer experience, increase conversions, and automate customer support. EZLabel caters to merchants within Australia who need efficient label generation and order fulfillment for Australia Post shipments. While both apps can indirectly impact order management, ChatBot does it via customer interactions and product recommendations, while EZLabel directly addresses the logistical aspects of fulfilling those orders.

Our Verdict
EZLabel: Australia Post Ship is the clear choice for Australian merchants using Australia Post MyPost Business who need to streamline their shipping label creation and order fulfillment processes. Its strong review count suggests a reliable and effective solution for this specific need. On the other hand, ChatBot by Text, while promising, lacks substantial validation with only one review. While its features are attractive for improving customer engagement, merchants should carefully consider the lack of social proof before committing to it. If a merchant isn't based in Australia or doesn't use Australia Post, EZLabel is irrelevant. If they don't need to automate shipping, then ChatBot becomes more relevant if customer experience is a key priority. However, further investigation into competing chatbot applications is recommended due to the single review. It might be more suitable for merchants on a tight budget who are willing to test a newer platform.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Both apps claim ease of use. ChatBot by Text boasts a 'no-code' integration and customizable template, suggesting accessibility for non-technical users. EZLabel: Australia Post Ship claims 'two-click' label printing, indicating a streamlined process. Without user testing, determining the absolute 'easier' app is subjective, depending on the merchant's familiarity with chatbot or shipping processes.
Can both apps help increase sales?
Yes, but indirectly and differently. ChatBot by Text aims to boost sales through personalized product recommendations and improved customer engagement. EZLabel: Australia Post Ship contributes by enabling faster and more reliable shipping, which can enhance customer satisfaction and lead to repeat purchases.
Which app is more suitable for international sellers?
ChatBot by Text is more universally applicable as it isn't tied to a specific shipping provider or region. EZLabel: Australia Post Ship is specifically designed for Australian merchants using Australia Post, making it unsuitable for international sellers using other carriers.
How can I be sure that ChatBot by Text is a reliable app?
Given the low review count (1), it is difficult to gauge the reliability of ChatBot by Text based solely on the provided information. A merchant should research alternative chatbot apps with higher review counts or seek out independent reviews to assess its reliability. Testing the free trial (if available) would also provide valuable insights.
Do both apps integrate with other Shopify apps?
The provided descriptions do not detail specific integrations with other Shopify apps beyond the core Shopify platform itself. Further investigation into each app's documentation is needed to determine compatibility with other apps within the Shopify ecosystem.
