Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a complete customer engagement solution with live chat, chatbots, and multi-channel support, Chatra is the better choice. Its higher number of reviews suggests broader adoption and a more established track record. However, for businesses specifically looking to leverage WhatsApp as a primary communication channel and that may prefer to use a different chat solution for general customer care, Extendons Whatsapp Integration is the better option. The 5/5 rating is impressive, but the lower review count suggests it's a newer or more niche app.
Common Questions
Which app offers more features for converting website visitors?
Chatra is the clear winner in terms of feature set. It offers proactive chat, cart saver functionality, and product recommendations, all aimed at converting visitors into paying customers.
Is Chatra better for larger businesses with more complex customer support needs?
Potentially. Chatra's shared inbox and multi-channel support make it suitable for teams managing conversations across multiple platforms. However, Extendons Whatsapp Integration could still be a viable option for businesses that primarily use Whatsapp.
Which app is easier to set up and use for a beginner?
Without more data on Extendons Whatsapp Integration's interface, it's hard to definitively say. Chatra claims to have an intuitive interface, making it a likely candidate for easy setup. Extendons Whatsapp Integration's single focus on Whatsapp might also simplify setup, but this is speculative.
Does Extendons Whatsapp Integration support other chat platforms?
Based on the description, it appears to be focused solely on Whatsapp integration. There's no mention of support for other platforms like Facebook or Instagram.
Which app is better for businesses that want to automate customer support?
Chatra offers chatbot functionality to automate routine tasks, making it the superior choice for businesses seeking to automate their customer support.
