Chatty AI Chatbot & Live Chat vs Chaty: WhatsApp & Chat buttonsfor Shopify (2026)
Chatty AI Chatbot & Live Chat and Chaty: WhatsApp & Chat buttons both address customer communication for Shopify merchants, but cater to different needs and strategies. Chatty AI focuses on providing comprehensive 24/7 customer support through an AI-powered chatbot and live chat, offering features like an integrated inbox to manage multiple channels, an FAQ builder, and sales automation. Its strength lies in its ability to automate customer service, answer questions, and suggest products without direct merchant involvement. Chaty, on the other hand, emphasizes providing customers with multiple communication channels through a customizable chat button. It enables customers to connect via WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and other popular messaging apps. Chaty doesn't offer AI or extensive helpdesk functionality but excels in enabling quick and easy communication through the customer's preferred channels. Its main advantage is allowing merchants to increase sales conversions, generate leads, and improve client support by connecting to customers on channels they already use and trust. Chatty is targeted towards merchants who need robust, automated customer support and wish to consolidate communication channels into a unified inbox. Chaty is more suitable for merchants prioritizing accessibility and immediate customer contact via popular messaging platforms.
