Our Verdict
Chaty is the clear recommendation for most merchants. Its high rating, significant review count, and broad platform support offer a more robust and proven solution for engaging with customers. The integration with Google Analytics provides valuable insights into customer behavior, allowing for data-driven optimization. Chaty is ideal for businesses that want to offer their customers a choice in how they communicate, and those actively looking to generate more leads.
Facebook Chat by Elfsight might be suitable for businesses exclusively focused on Facebook Messenger as their primary customer communication channel. However, given the lack of reviews and lower feature set compared to Chaty, it's difficult to recommend without further evidence of its effectiveness. Businesses heavily reliant on Facebook marketing and with a strong Facebook community might find some value in this more focused approach, but should carefully monitor its performance and consider Chaty as a more reliable alternative.
