Checkout Blocks & Customizer vs Nex Reorder Payment methodfor Shopify (2026)
Checkout Blocks & Customizer and Nex Reorder Payment method both aim to optimize the Shopify checkout experience, but they address different aspects. Nex Reorder Payment method focuses specifically on the payment method selection stage, allowing merchants to reorder, sort, and even hide payment options based on various conditions. This is targeted at reducing chargebacks and optimizing for conversion by presenting the most relevant payment options to customers. Checkout Blocks & Customizer, on the other hand, is likely a more general checkout customization tool (though limited data prevents a thorough understanding), potentially offering broader customization capabilities beyond just payment methods, though the sparse review count raises questions about its maturity and widespread adoption. Given the information available, Nex Reorder Payment method seems to offer a more clearly defined and targeted solution to a common checkout pain point – optimizing payment method selection. Its higher review count suggests greater user adoption and potentially more robust functionality. Checkout Blocks & Customizer's lack of specific details and minimal reviews makes it difficult to assess its strengths and target audience. Without further information on its capabilities, it's challenging to recommend it over Nex Reorder Payment method for merchants specifically looking to optimize payment method presentation.

Our Verdict
For merchants specifically looking to optimize the payment method selection process during checkout, Nex Reorder Payment method appears to be the stronger choice. Its features are clearly defined and directly address the issue of presenting relevant payment options to customers to reduce chargebacks and increase conversions. The higher number of reviews suggests greater reliability and user satisfaction.
Checkout Blocks & Customizer might be suitable for merchants seeking more general checkout customization options *if* it offers a broader range of features beyond payment methods. However, the lack of detailed information and the low review count make it a riskier choice without further investigation and concrete feature list. If a merchant is only concerned with optimizing *payment* method selection and presentation, Nex Reorder Payment method is the clear recommendation.
