Checky ‑ Gift Card Balance vs Goalify: Free Shipping Bar PROfor Shopify (2026)
Checky ‑ Gift Card Balance and Goalify: Free Shipping Bar PRO cater to distinct needs within the Shopify ecosystem, despite sharing the broad 'Gifts' category. Checky focuses on improving the gift card experience for both customers and staff, allowing easy balance checks at POS terminals, online, and during checkout. Our Verdict
For merchants whose business model relies significantly on gift card sales and who struggle with customer inquiries regarding gift card balances, Checky ‑ Gift Card Balance appears to be the more suitable option. Its focus on simplifying gift card management and enhancing the customer experience in this specific area addresses a direct need. Goalify: Free Shipping Bar PRO is a better fit for merchants looking to boost their overall sales and average order value by leveraging the psychological impact of free shipping. The large difference in review numbers suggests wider adoption and potentially more mature features within Goalify.
Given the limited review count for Checky, merchants should approach with caution and potentially seek more reviews or case studies before committing, although its feature set directly addresses a potentially valuable niche. If gift cards aren't a major component of your business, then Goalify is likely the more impactful app to test and consider, as boosting AOV usually has a more immediate impact to overall store performance.
