Claimbase: Instagram Sales vs Product IQfor Shopify (2026)
Claimbase: Instagram Sales and Product IQ, while both categorized under 'Advertising - Other' in the Shopify app store, serve distinctly different purposes for Shopify merchants. Claimbase focuses directly on facilitating sales through Instagram. While little is known about its functionality beyond its name, it appears targeted toward merchants actively seeking to leverage Instagram as a sales channel. Product IQ, on the other hand, takes a more foundational approach by focusing on improving product data quality across various platforms. It helps merchants analyze and enhance their product information, improving targeting and presentation across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Google Shopping. The primary difference lies in their immediacy and scope. Claimbase aims for immediate sales gains on Instagram, while Product IQ aims for long-term improvements in data quality leading to better advertising performance across multiple channels. Merchants primarily focused on rapidly driving sales through Instagram might initially find Claimbase appealing. However, merchants seeking to establish a strong foundation for their advertising efforts and optimize product data for improved performance across multiple channels would likely find Product IQ more beneficial in the long run.

Our Verdict
Claimbase: Instagram Sales is a better choice for merchants primarily focused on driving sales directly through Instagram and who may not have the resources or inclination to focus on broader product data optimization. The 5-star rating (though based on a small sample size) suggests users are satisfied.
Product IQ, despite lacking initial reviews, presents a compelling solution for merchants serious about improving their product data quality to enhance advertising performance across multiple channels. While there is no user feedback available, its focus on data optimization and providing actionable improvement suggestions makes it a valuable tool for larger merchants or those with complex product catalogs seeking long-term, sustainable advertising success.
