Cleverific Order Editing vs MyGLS Professionalfor Shopify (2026)
Cleverific Order Editing and MyGLS Professional cater to very different needs within the Shopify ecosystem. Cleverific focuses on enhancing the post-purchase experience by enabling merchants to offer self-service order editing and manage custom orders. Its core value proposition revolves around streamlining order modifications, improving customer satisfaction, and reducing support workload. In contrast, MyGLS Professional specializes in shipping logistics, specifically for merchants using GLS (General Logistics Systems), particularly within Eastern Europe. It aims to simplify label creation, integrate parcel shop options, and automate order tracking for these specific geographic and carrier needs. The fundamental distinction lies in their functionality: Cleverific addresses order management *within* the Shopify platform, empowering customers to modify their orders directly. MyGLS Professional, however, provides tools for *fulfilling* those orders by integrating with a specific shipping carrier, GLS. Cleverific's broader feature set includes abandoned cart recovery and draft order enhancements, while MyGLS Professional concentrates on shipping-related functionalities such as parcel shop integration and COD fee handling, tailored for GLS users. Therefore, choosing between the two hinges on whether a merchant requires robust order editing capabilities or streamlined GLS shipping management.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking to empower their customers with self-service order editing, manage custom orders effectively, and reduce support burden, Cleverific Order Editing is the superior choice. Its comprehensive features addressing order modifications, abandoned cart recovery, and draft order enhancements offer significant value. Conversely, MyGLS Professional is the clear winner for merchants primarily concerned with streamlining their GLS shipping operations, especially those operating in Eastern Europe. The app's focus on label printing, parcel shop integration, and automated tracking makes it an indispensable tool for businesses heavily reliant on GLS for order fulfillment.
Ultimately, the selection depends entirely on the specific operational needs of the merchant. If order management and customer empowerment are priorities, Cleverific is the better option. However, if efficient GLS shipping is paramount, then MyGLS Professional is the more suitable solution. A merchant could also utilize both apps if their business requires both robust order editing and seamless GLS shipping capabilities.
