ConversionBox Search & Filter vs Search & Discovery ‑ Viselyfor Shopify (2026)
ConversionBox Search & Filter and Search & Discovery ‑ Visely are both Shopify apps aimed at improving site search and product discovery, but they present very different profiles. ConversionBox Search & Filter positions itself as a comprehensive AI-powered solution particularly suitable for larger catalogs (100+ products) and specific industries like fashion and beauty. It emphasizes speed optimization, AI-driven recommendations, and scalability. However, it currently lacks any user reviews or ratings, which poses a significant risk for merchants. Search & Discovery ‑ Visely, on the other hand, has a perfect 5/5 rating based on 34 reviews, suggesting established user satisfaction. It focuses on delivering relevant search results, customizable filters, and recommendation features, emphasizing ease of integration and a white-glove service approach. The fundamental difference lies in their demonstrated track record and target audience. ConversionBox appears to be targeting larger Shopify or Shopify Plus stores with complex needs and a willingness to invest in a customizable solution despite the lack of social proof. Visely, with its positive reviews and focus on ease of use, seems better suited for a broader range of merchants who prioritize reliability and quick implementation. Visely also highlights features like internationalization and business shopper customization, appealing to stores with diverse customer bases. Ultimately, the choice will depend on a merchant's risk tolerance and the importance they place on existing user feedback versus advanced, albeit unproven, features.

Our Verdict
Given the information available, Search & Discovery ‑ Visely is the safer and more readily recommendable choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026. Its perfect rating and existing user base provide strong evidence of its effectiveness and ease of use. Merchants seeking a proven solution with a focus on relevant search results and customizable filters will likely find Visely to be a valuable asset.
ConversionBox Search & Filter, while promising advanced AI-powered features and scalability, carries considerable risk due to the complete absence of user reviews. It *could* be a valuable option for larger Shopify or Shopify Plus stores in specific industries with the resources and willingness to beta test a new platform and provide feedback if ConversionBox offered a compelling trial period or significant discount to offset the risk.
