Our Verdict
Wizzy AI Search & Filter appears to be the stronger choice for most merchants in 2026 due to its established positive reputation (5/5 rating with 34 reviews) and focus on advanced AI-driven search capabilities and detailed filtering options. The app’s ability to understand user intent and offer granular filtering makes it suitable for stores prioritizing precise and intuitive product discovery. While ConversionBox Search & Filter emphasizes speed optimization and scalability, the lack of reviews and specific feature details make it difficult to assess its real-world performance and reliability. However, ConversionBox could potentially be considered for merchants needing AMP support and specific smart merchandising automation, *if* user reviews become available to support its claims.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and customize?
Both apps claim to be customizable, but Wizzy's focus on 'dynamic filters tailored to your store' suggests a more guided and potentially easier customization process, while ConversionBox's 'fully customizable' could imply a steeper learning curve.
Which app is better for mobile users?
ConversionBox explicitly mentions 'enhancing mobile shopping' and offers 'instant page loading on any device' via AMP. While Wizzy focuses on not impacting 'page insights score', ConversionBox seems to prioritize the mobile user experience more overtly.
Which app offers more advanced filtering options?
Wizzy clearly provides more advanced filtering, with specific mentions of filtering by Colors, Size, Variations, Description, Tags, Metafields, SKU, and barcode. ConversionBox only mentions a 'product filter sidebar,' which is less specific.
Which app offers stronger AI-powered recommendations?
ConversionBox mentions 'AI Recommendations' for upsells and cross-sells, while Wizzy focuses on using AI for search suggestions and ranking. The best choice depends on whether you prioritize AI-driven *search* suggestions (Wizzy) or AI-driven *product* recommendations (ConversionBox).
Which app should I choose if I have a large and complex product catalog?
Wizzy AI Search & Filter, with its emphasis on granular filtering (SKU, barcode, metafields) and full-text contextual search, seems better suited for managing large and complex product catalogs where precise search and filtering are critical.
