COS : Custom Order Status vs MyGLS Professionalfor Shopify (2026)
COS : Custom Order Status and MyGLS Professional, while both touching upon order management within Shopify, cater to vastly different needs. COS : Custom Order Status, based on its name, likely focuses on providing merchants with granular control over the order status displayed to customers. However, with only one review and a 4/5 rating, there's limited data to fully understand its capabilities or reliability in 2026. MyGLS Professional, on the other hand, is a comprehensive shipping solution tailored specifically for merchants using GLS, particularly those in Eastern Europe. It offers features like unlimited label printing, parcel shop integration, and automated order status tracking – a complete package for businesses heavily reliant on GLS shipping. The significantly higher review count (123) and perfect rating (5/5) suggest a mature and well-regarded app within its niche.

Our Verdict
For merchants needing to manage GLS shipping in Eastern Europe, especially those requiring unlimited label printing and parcel shop integration, MyGLS Professional is the clear choice. The high rating and large number of reviews demonstrate its reliability and effectiveness. The app delivers a complete GLS shipping experience.
COS : Custom Order Status might be useful if you specifically need very custom order status options. However, the extremely limited review information makes it difficult to assess its value and reliability. Unless custom order statuses are absolutely critical and no other app provides a suitable alternative, MyGLS Professional is a more established and reliable choice for merchants using GLS.
