Cotei ‑ Correios PAC e SEDEX vs Shipping & Delivery ‑ ShipZipfor Shopify (2026)
Cotei ‑ Correios PAC e SEDEX focuses specifically on integrating with Correios, the Brazilian postal service, offering precise shipping calculations for SEDEX, PAC, and international deliveries. Its strength lies in providing accurate rates using merchants' Correios contracts, handling various shipping methods (SEDEX 12, Log+, Mini Envios), and incorporating product dimensions for improved accuracy. This makes it ideal for merchants in Brazil who heavily rely on Correios for their shipping needs. Shipping & Delivery ‑ ShipZip, on the other hand, is a more versatile shipping rules engine. It allows merchants to define custom shipping rates based on numerous criteria like product attributes (SKU, tags, vendors), zip codes, distance, and cart parameters. ShipZip's strength lies in its granular control over shipping costs and its ability to handle complex shipping scenarios, including local delivery, store pickup, and order delivery date management. It also addresses restrictions for PO box addresses. While Cotei streamlines Correios integration, ShipZip caters to merchants who require highly customized shipping rules and scenarios, particularly those with local delivery options or specialized product handling requirements. Given the difference in target, merchants should carefully evaluate which fits their needs.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants in Brazil who primarily ship with Correios, Cotei ‑ Correios PAC e SEDEX is the clear winner. Its focus on seamless integration, support for various Correios shipping methods, and dimension-based calculations make it a streamlined solution. The higher rating and specific focus suggest superior functionality in this niche. However, for merchants who require highly flexible shipping rules based on various criteria like product attributes, location, or delivery date, and those needing local delivery/pickup functionality, Shipping & Delivery ‑ ShipZip is the better choice. Its advanced rule engine and broader feature set provide greater control, even if it requires more setup and configuration.
