Custom & Draft Orders For POS vs Parcel Panel Order Trackingfor Shopify (2026)
Custom & Draft Orders For POS and Parcel Panel Order Tracking are vastly different Shopify apps, despite both falling under the 'Orders' category. Custom & Draft Orders For POS is specifically designed to streamline the creation and management of draft and custom orders directly within the Shopify POS system. Its strength lies in enabling POS users to handle unique order scenarios, custom products, and service additions without needing to switch to the Shopify Admin. Parcel Panel Order Tracking, on the other hand, is focused on post-purchase order fulfillment. It provides customers with tracking information for their shipments, enhancing transparency and reducing WISMO (Where Is My Order?) inquiries. Parcel Panel Order Tracking boasts a significantly higher user base and a 5-star rating based on nearly two thousand reviews, indicating strong user satisfaction with its tracking features. Custom & Draft Orders For POS, while potentially valuable for niche use cases within POS environments, has a significantly smaller user base and a slightly lower rating, suggesting it may be less mature or cater to a more specific set of merchant needs. The key difference is that Custom & Draft Orders For POS addresses order *creation* and *modification* within the POS, while Parcel Panel Order Tracking focuses on order *tracking* after checkout and shipment.
