Customer Pulse vs FormCRM AI Custom Form Builderfor Shopify (2026)
Customer Pulse and FormCRM AI Custom Form Builder both address the need for gathering customer information within a Shopify store, but they approach it from different angles. Customer Pulse is positioned as a dedicated post-purchase survey tool, focused on collecting feedback to improve the customer experience. It emphasizes real-time tracking and analytics for data-driven decision making. FormCRM, on the other hand, is a more versatile form builder, offering a broader range of form types beyond just surveys, including contact forms, registration forms, and wholesale forms. Its strength lies in its AI-powered drag-and-drop interface, integrations with various marketing and CRM platforms, and advanced form features like multi-step forms and conditional logic. The target audience for Customer Pulse is likely merchants primarily interested in post-purchase customer feedback, while FormCRM targets merchants who need a flexible form solution for various data collection needs.

Our Verdict
For merchants solely focused on gathering post-purchase feedback and prioritizing real-time analysis of those survey results, Customer Pulse might seem attractive with its specific focus. However, the lack of reviews and the existence of FormCRM as an alternative offering survey functionality, and a high rating with multiple reviews should steer most merchants toward FormCRM. FormCRM AI Custom Form Builder is the more robust and versatile solution, especially for merchants requiring various form types beyond surveys and seeking integrations with marketing and CRM platforms. Its AI-powered builder and advanced features provide a more comprehensive and user-friendly experience. Given the available information, FormCRM is the stronger recommendation for most Shopify merchants in 2026.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use?
FormCRM likely offers a superior user experience due to its AI-powered drag-and-drop interface, making form creation more intuitive.
Which app is better for deep analytics?
Customer Pulse explicitly mentions real-time tracking and analytics of survey responses, suggesting it may offer more focused analytics for post-purchase feedback. However, without seeing the feature set of each app directly, it is not certain. FormCRM might also be able to track results from integrated services.
Can both apps create surveys?
Yes, both apps are listed in the Surveys category on Shopify. FormCRM allows for survey form creation among many others, and Customer Pulse appears dedicated to surveys, specifically post-purchase surveys.
Which app offers better integrations?
FormCRM explicitly lists integrations with popular platforms like Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, Slack, and Zoho. Customer Pulse does not specify any integrations.
Should I choose Customer Pulse if I only need post-purchase surveys?
While Customer Pulse is designed specifically for post-purchase surveys, the lack of reviews and the existence of a positively reviewed alternative, FormCRM, which includes surveys as a feature, make FormCRM the safer and possibly more effective choice. You should test both applications.
