CustomFit AI A/B Testing & CRO vs Fly: Bundles & Quantity Breaksfor Shopify (2026)
CustomFit AI A/B Testing & CRO and Fly: Bundles & Quantity Breaks both aim to increase sales for Shopify merchants, but they approach it from fundamentally different angles. CustomFit AI focuses on conversion rate optimization (CRO) through A/B testing, personalization, and AI-driven insights, targeting marketers seeking to refine their existing website. Fly, on the other hand, is centered around boosting Average Order Value (AOV) by leveraging product bundling, quantity breaks, and upsell strategies, appealing to merchants looking to directly incentivize larger purchases. Both apps reside in the Upsell and Cross-sell category, but Fly emphasizes techniques for increasing the size of the cart, while CustomFit AI aims to improve the percentage of visitors who complete a purchase, regardless of cart size. The key differentiator lies in their methodology. CustomFit AI provides a no-code platform for marketers to experiment with different website layouts, content, and designs to identify the most effective strategies for driving conversions. This involves using tools like A/B testing, split URL testing, and a visual editor to create personalized experiences. Fly, conversely, employs product bundling, quantity discounts, and strategic placement of upsell opportunities to encourage customers to buy more items. The choice between the two depends heavily on whether the merchant is looking to optimize the existing sales funnel or directly influence customer purchasing behavior through strategic product arrangements and discounts.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking data-driven improvements to their website's user experience and conversion funnel, CustomFit AI A/B Testing & CRO is the clear choice. Its AI-powered optimization and no-code visual editor empower marketers to experiment and personalize their site effectively. However, merchants primarily focused on immediately increasing Average Order Value through strategic product arrangements and incentives should opt for Fly: Bundles & Quantity Breaks. Its suite of bundling, discount, and upsell tools provides a direct approach to boosting cart sizes.
Ultimately, choosing between the two depends on the merchant's specific goals and priorities. If the objective is to refine the overall customer experience and conversion rate, CustomFit AI offers a comprehensive solution. If the aim is to directly incentivize larger purchases through bundling and discounts, Fly: Bundles & Quantity Breaks is the more suitable option. Ideally, a mature store could use both to optimize the user experience for conversion, and then utilize bundles for the converted users.
