Our Verdict
Based on the available data, Dataships Checkout Opt‑in appears to be a more established and reliable choice for Shopify merchants seeking to improve email and SMS opt-ins at checkout. Its focus on dynamic consent, Klaviyo integration, and compliance tools makes it particularly suitable for businesses operating in regions with stringent privacy regulations or those heavily invested in Klaviyo for email and SMS marketing. LabsMobile, with its lack of reviews and information, presents a significantly higher risk. Unless there's a compelling reason to choose an unproven app, Dataships is the preferable option. However, merchants should always test and evaluate apps themselves to ensure they meet their specific needs.
