Our Verdict
Dataships Checkout Opt‑in is the better choice for merchants who need to prioritize compliant acquisition of email and SMS contacts, especially those operating in regions with strict privacy regulations like GDPR or CCPA. Its focus on dynamic consent and audit logs makes it a solid option for data-conscious businesses. However, the lack of reviews for WA Bridge makes it difficult to assess its suitability.
If a merchant is primarily concerned with re-engaging customers through automated order and cart updates via SMS and WhatsApp, and data privacy compliance for opt-ins is less of an immediate concern, WA Bridge *could* be a viable option *if* they conduct thorough testing to ensure functionality and reliability. Given the zero rating and zero reviews in 2026, it is hard to recommend WA Bridge without further evidence. However, both apps could technically be used in conjunction to provide a full marketing funnel: Dataships handles the acquisition and initial consent, while WA Bridge manages post-purchase communications.
