Digital Sales Bell & Counter vs MyGLS Professionalfor Shopify (2026)
Digital Sales Bell & Counter and MyGLS Professional, while both appearing in the 'Order tracking' category on the Shopify app store, cater to vastly different needs and target audiences. Digital Sales Bell & Counter focuses on gamifying and visualizing sales in real-time, aiming to motivate teams with customizable digital counters and celebratory sounds for each new order. It's designed to enhance the emotional aspect of sales and provide a visual representation of success on any screen. On the other hand, MyGLS Professional addresses the logistical challenges of order fulfillment, specifically for merchants using GLS for shipping, especially within Eastern Europe. It offers unlimited label printing, parcel shop integration, and automated order tracking. The apps differ significantly in their scope and functionality. Digital Sales Bell & Counter is essentially a motivational tool, impacting the company culture and team morale. MyGLS Professional, however, streamlines the shipping process, improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction through accurate tracking and convenient parcel shop options. While both contribute to the overall success of an eCommerce business, they do so in fundamentally different ways. The extremely low review count for Digital Sales Bell & Counter compared to MyGLS Professional with its triple digit review number also suggests a substantial difference in user adoption and potentially product maturity and reliability.

Our Verdict
Digital Sales Bell & Counter is suitable for businesses looking to inject excitement into their sales process and visually track their progress. It's especially appealing to smaller teams that value instant gratification and motivational tools. However, the extremely low review count raises concerns. MyGLS Professional, on the other hand, is a clear choice for merchants already utilizing GLS for shipping, particularly those operating within Eastern Europe. Its focus on label printing, order tracking, and parcel shop integration makes it an essential tool for efficient order fulfillment. Given the large difference in review volume, MyGLS Professional seems the more established and trustworthy solution for its target audience.
If a merchant prioritizes operational efficiency and streamlined GLS shipping, MyGLS Professional is the obvious choice. Digital Sales Bell & Counter, with its limited reviews, should only be considered if the primary goal is sales team motivation through visual displays and auditory cues, and the merchant is willing to accept the risk associated with a relatively untested app.
Common Questions
Does Digital Sales Bell & Counter integrate directly with GLS?
No, Digital Sales Bell & Counter is focused on visualizing sales and does not have any direct integration with shipping carriers like GLS. MyGLS Professional, however, specifically integrates with GLS to provide label printing and tracking functionalities.
Which app is better for large enterprises?
MyGLS Professional is likely the better choice for large enterprises that rely on GLS for shipping, as its features are designed for high-volume order fulfillment and automated tracking. Digital Sales Bell & Counter's impact is limited to team motivation and may not scale effectively in a large organization.
Can Digital Sales Bell & Counter display sales from multiple Shopify stores?
The app description does not explicitly state whether it supports multiple Shopify stores. It's designed to connect to 'your store', suggesting it might be limited to a single store integration. MyGLS Professional functionality is independent of shop number and is more related to the GLS account.
Is MyGLS Professional only useful for merchants in Eastern Europe?
While MyGLS Professional highlights country-specific solutions for Romania (zip codes), its core functionalities of label printing, parcel shop integration, and order tracking are beneficial for any merchant using GLS, regardless of location. The description emphasizes Eastern Europe due to the company's specialization and built-in country specific solutions.
Which app offers a free trial?
The app descriptions do not explicitly mention free trials for either app. Merchants should check the Shopify App Store listing for the most up-to-date information on pricing and trial options.
