Discounts Hub Unique Discount vs Flair Product Badges + Labelsfor Shopify (2026)
Discounts Hub Unique Discount and Flair Product Badges + Labels, despite sharing the 'Discounts' category on Shopify, cater to distinctly different needs. Discounts Hub Unique Discount focuses on providing a wide range of customizable discount options beyond standard Shopify offerings. It targets merchants needing granular control over promotions based on customer attributes, product properties, and purchase behavior, offering features like Buy X Get Y with limits, volume tiered discounts, and customer lifetime value based discounts. Flair Product Badges + Labels, on the other hand, seems to be focused on visual merchandising and communication through labels. While specific feature overlap regarding discounts is not stated, it appears to emphasize product presentation more. The primary difference lies in their functionality. Discounts Hub Unique Discount aims to enhance the *types* of discounts available, while Flair Product Badges + Labels's core functionality is not described and no information about this is given. Discounts Hub emphasizes advanced customization and the ability to combine discounts, appealing to merchants requiring sophisticated promotional strategies. The relative immaturity of Discounts Hub, as evidenced by the lower number of reviews, suggests it may be a newer app or one with a smaller user base compared to Flair Product Badges + Labels. The 'willingness to make it happen' claim further shows that the Discounts Hub is customer support oriented.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking granular control and a diverse array of discount types (beyond standard Shopify options) to incentivize specific customer behaviors or reward loyalty, Discounts Hub Unique Discount is the more suitable choice. It offers features like Buy X Get Y with limits and discounts based on customer lifetime value. However, given the lower number of reviews, it's crucial to thoroughly test the app and ensure it aligns perfectly with your store's needs. If you're looking to label products, then Flair Product Badges + Labels will suit you better.
Ultimately, the choice depends on the specific requirements. Discounts Hub focuses on expanding the promotional capabilities within your store, allowing you to craft tailored discounts beyond the default Shopify options, while Flair Product Badges + Labels would focus on label options.
