Disputer by Safe App vs Ongoing Disable Right Clickfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, choosing between Disputer by Safe App and Ongoing Disable Right Click presents a stark contrast. Disputer by Safe App focuses on automating chargeback responses, positioning itself as a time-saving tool that proactively monitors a store's financial health through analytics and health scores based on a bank's perspective. It aims to alleviate the burden of manual chargeback management for merchants. Conversely, Ongoing Disable Right Click, although also categorized under "Fraud", appears to serve a drastically different purpose, implied by its name, likely focused on protecting digital content or design by preventing right-clicking, a measure sometimes used to deter image theft or unauthorized content duplication. The primary distinction lies in their intended functionality. Disputer by Safe App targets merchants struggling with chargeback management, providing an automated solution complete with analytics. It suggests a more sophisticated, data-driven approach to fraud prevention and dispute resolution. On the other hand, Ongoing Disable Right Click targets merchants concerned with protecting their website's intellectual property by disabling right-click functionality, possibly to prevent unauthorized copying of images or other content. A key factor to consider is the significant disparity in user feedback, with Disputer having no reviews and Ongoing Disable Right Click boasting a perfect 5/5 rating from a small pool of four reviews. This calls for due diligence before adopting Disputer by Safe App.

Our Verdict
Disputer by Safe App is best suited for merchants who are experiencing a high volume of chargebacks and need a comprehensive solution to automate responses, monitor their store's financial health, and gain insights into chargeback patterns. Its advanced features require more initial investment in understanding and integration. However, given its zero reviews, merchants should proceed with caution and potentially seek a trial or demo before committing.
Ongoing Disable Right Click is a simpler solution targeted at merchants primarily concerned with preventing basic forms of content theft. While it might not completely deter sophisticated users, it can act as a first line of defense. Given its positive reviews and simple functionality, it's a relatively low-risk option for merchants wanting to protect their digital assets. If chargeback management is a major concern, Disputer by Safe App is the more appropriate (though unproven) choice, otherwise, choose Ongoing Disable Right Click.
