DIYVA Conversational AI vs easy Google Customer Reviewsfor Shopify (2026)
DIYVA Conversational AI and easy Google Customer Reviews both address the 'Surveys' category on Shopify, but they cater to significantly different needs and approaches to customer feedback. DIYVA focuses on creating a voice-based, interactive chatbot experience, allowing merchants to build custom dialogs and questionnaires for gathering customer satisfaction, product reviews, and other opinions. This approach aims for a frictionless and personalized feedback collection process directly within the store. However, it seems to be currently limited by theme compatibility and lacks any user reviews indicating potential reliability issues. While the voice based dialogs might appeal to some users, the dependency on vintage themes and lack of reviews present a risk. Easy Google Customer Reviews, on the other hand, prioritizes leveraging the credibility and reach of the Google Customer Reviews program. It simplifies the process of integrating Google's review system into a Shopify store, enabling merchants to collect verified reviews and display the 'Top Quality Store on Google' badge. With no coding required and a focus on post-purchase surveys, it provides a streamlined solution for building trust and improving search visibility. The app's strong 5/5 rating and 18 reviews suggest a positive user experience and reliable performance. Its integration with Google Merchant Center makes it a worthwhile option for merchants looking to improve social proof, drive sales and leverage the Google brand.

Our Verdict
For most Shopify merchants in 2026, especially those using Online Store 2.0 themes, **easy Google Customer Reviews** appears to be the safer and more beneficial choice. Its proven track record (5/5 rating, 18 reviews), ease of use, and integration with Google provide a clear path to collecting verified reviews and enhancing online credibility. The association with the Google brand will also build trust for customers.
DIYVA Conversational AI might appeal to a niche audience specifically interested in voice-based interactions and custom chatbot surveys, and who also might use Vintage Themes. However, the lack of reviews, the vintage theme limitation, and the potential need for developer assistance make it a riskier proposition. If a merchant is desperate for a voice based plugin then this could be considered. But the merchant should approach DIYVA with caution, due to its lack of reviews.
