DIYVA Conversational AI vs Gojiberry Survey & Feedbackfor Shopify (2026)
DIYVA Conversational AI and Gojiberry Survey & Feedback are both Shopify apps aiming to gather customer feedback through surveys, but they differ significantly in their approach and target audience. DIYVA focuses on voice-based conversational surveys delivered through a chatbot widget integrated into specific store pages (Collection, Product, Order Status). It positions itself as offering a frictionless and easy interface for customers to quickly provide feedback. In contrast, Gojiberry offers a wider range of survey delivery methods, including email, product inserts, and SNS (presumably social media) links via QR codes, focusing on both pre-purchase and post-purchase feedback to improve marketing and product development. The primary distinction lies in the survey medium (voice vs. text/QR code) and the breadth of survey delivery. DIYVA, despite its potentially innovative voice-based interface, suffers from a lack of social proof (no reviews) and a crucial compatibility limitation; it is explicitly only designed for vintage themes and requires custom integration for Online Store 2.0 themes, potentially alienating a vast majority of Shopify merchants. Gojiberry, with its 5-star rating from 28 reviews and Shopify Extensibility support, promises ease of use, broader reach, and more advanced features like segmentation and conditional logic for targeted surveys. Its focus leans towards leveraging survey data for scaling marketing and identifying product opportunities.

Our Verdict
For the vast majority of Shopify merchants in 2026, Gojiberry Survey & Feedback is the significantly safer and more versatile choice. Its positive reviews, Shopify Extensibility support, ease of use, and diverse delivery methods make it a compelling option for gathering customer feedback and driving marketing decisions. DIYVA Conversational AI, with its untested voice-based approach and theme compatibility limitations, is a much riskier bet. It might appeal to a niche group of merchants still using Vintage themes who are specifically interested in voice-based surveys, and are willing to potentially pay for a custom integration to use it with modern themes. However, the lack of reviews makes it difficult to assess the actual effectiveness of its conversational AI and voice interface.
