Doodle ‑ Infinite Scroll vs Tabs Studiofor Shopify (2026)
Doodle ‑ Infinite Scroll and Tabs Studio address different aspects of product display on Shopify stores. Doodle aims to improve the browsing experience on collection pages by implementing infinite scrolling, theoretically reducing user drop-off by eliminating pagination. It targets merchants who believe that multi-page collection layouts are hurting their conversion rates and want to offer a more seamless browsing experience. Tabs Studio, on the other hand, focuses on product pages, aiming to organize detailed product information using tabs or accordions. This helps declutter product pages and make information more accessible to customers. The key difference lies in the location and purpose. Doodle is for collection pages and seeks to increase browsing speed. Tabs Studio is for product pages and seeks to organize content and improve clarity. Both apps aim to improve the customer experience, but through vastly different mechanisms. The significantly higher rating and number of reviews for Tabs Studio indicate a stronger market reception and potentially a more reliable solution.

Our Verdict
Tabs Studio is the clear winner in most scenarios, given its significantly higher rating and far greater number of reviews. This suggests greater reliability and effectiveness. Merchants with product descriptions that are too long or complex for a single page should seriously consider Tabs Studio. Its focus on organization and clarity is invaluable for improving the customer experience and potentially reducing support requests and returns.
Doodle ‑ Infinite Scroll might be suitable for stores that have evidence of high drop-off rates on their collection pages and believe that pagination is the culprit. However, given the low rating and limited reviews, it's crucial to thoroughly test the app before fully committing to it, and weigh it against other infinite scroll options.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the feature sets, Doodle ‑ Infinite Scroll likely offers a simpler setup process, focusing on a single function. Tabs Studio, with its more extensive customization options, might require more initial configuration, although it claims to require 'no coding'.
Which app is better for improving SEO?
It's difficult to say definitively without more information. However, Tabs Studio's ability to structure product descriptions logically could indirectly benefit SEO by making content more readable for search engines. Doodle's infinite scroll might hinder SEO if not implemented correctly (e.g., not properly indexing all products on the page).
Does Tabs Studio work on mobile devices?
Yes, Tabs Studio explicitly states that its tabs and accordions are fully responsive, ensuring a good experience on any device. Doodle does not specify mobile performance, and merchants should test this.
Which app requires coding?
Tabs Studio claims 'no coding required'. Doodle ‑ Infinite Scroll makes no such claims and the level of coding required is not stated.
What happens if I uninstall either of these apps?
Uninstalling Doodle ‑ Infinite Scroll would revert the collection pages back to their original paginated format. Uninstalling Tabs Studio would remove the tabbed layout from the product pages, revealing the product description in its original, unorganized state. It's crucial to backup any changes made by these apps before uninstalling.
