DoubleTick WhatsApp Sales CRM vs Whatsapp Marketing & Supportfor Shopify (2026)
DoubleTick WhatsApp Sales CRM and Whatsapp Marketing & Support are both Shopify apps designed to leverage WhatsApp for marketing and customer engagement, but they target different needs and offer distinct capabilities. DoubleTick focuses primarily on basic WhatsApp notifications and a chatbot widget, aiming to provide fundamental WhatsApp integration for smaller stores. Its strength lies in its simplicity and direct focus on core notification types like abandoned cart and order updates. Whatsapp Marketing & Support, in contrast, is a more comprehensive platform, positioning itself as an AI-powered commerce and support solution across multiple channels, including WhatsApp, Instagram, and Email. It provides a unified inbox for multi-agent support, AI-driven automation for campaigns, and advanced features such as COD conversion to prepaid. This app targets larger D2C brands looking for a robust, integrated platform to enhance sales and retention through sophisticated automation and support capabilities. The significant difference in user ratings and number of reviews suggests a substantial gap in user satisfaction and perceived value between the two apps.

Our Verdict
For smaller Shopify stores seeking a straightforward solution for basic WhatsApp notifications, DoubleTick WhatsApp Sales CRM might suffice, although the low rating and limited reviews raise concerns. However, for businesses serious about leveraging WhatsApp for comprehensive customer engagement, sales automation, and multi-channel support, Whatsapp Marketing & Support is the clear winner. Its higher rating, significantly more reviews, and broader feature set make it a much more robust and valuable option for D2C brands focused on scaling their operations and optimizing customer lifetime value. The AI-powered automation and multi-agent support capabilities offer a significant advantage in managing customer interactions and driving sales.
