Our Verdict
The choice between Draftable and Filtrix depends heavily on the merchant's specific needs. If a merchant frequently creates draft orders for custom orders, wholesale clients, or other special circumstances, Draftable ‑ Draft Order Helper is likely the better choice. Its focus on streamlining the draft order process will save time and reduce errors.
However, for merchants concerned about the accuracy and completeness of their product data, Filtrix ‑ products tracker is the superior option. Its ability to identify missing images, zero-priced products, and other potential issues can help improve the overall customer experience and prevent lost sales. Filtrix is beneficial for virtually any Shopify store, particularly those with a large or frequently updated product catalog. While Draftable might be a specialized tool for a subset of merchants, Filtrix provides broader value to a wider audience.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use?
Without direct access to the apps, it's difficult to definitively say which is easier to use. However, Filtrix, with its focused functionality of identifying product issues, likely offers a simpler user experience. Draftable, dealing with order creation which is often complex, might involve a slightly steeper learning curve depending on its user interface.
Which app is more proactive in helping my business?
Both apps are proactive in their own ways. Draftable proactively helps you create and manage draft orders efficiently. Filtrix proactively scans your product listings to identify and alert you to potential issues, preventing future problems. The 'more' proactive app depends on which aspect of your business you wish to improve.
If I only had budget for one, which should I choose?
If you are constrained by budget, consider the core of your business. If custom orders or non-standard order fulfillment is essential to your revenue, Draftable is the better choice. If your business relies on a strong product catalog and the ability to prevent mistakes that could damage revenue, Filtrix makes more sense.
Are there any integration points between the two apps?
Based on the provided descriptions, there is no inherent integration point between these two apps. They address entirely different areas of Shopify store management.
Does a large number of reviews for Draftable ‑ Draft Order Helper indicate it's 'better' than Filtrix ‑ products tracker?
Not necessarily. While Draftable has significantly more reviews, it doesn't automatically mean it's 'better.' The review count suggests it's either been around longer or addresses a more widespread need. Filtrix is rated equally well, suggesting users are satisfied with its specific features, however its user base is much smaller.
