Our Verdict
The choice between Draftable ‑ Draft Order Helper and OC Quantity Breaks Order Limit hinges entirely on a merchant's specific needs. Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Without hands-on experience, it's difficult to definitively say. However, Draftable's more focused functionality (draft orders) suggests a potentially simpler setup than OC Quantity Breaks Order Limit, which likely involves configuring multiple discount tiers and order limits.
Which app is better for wholesale businesses?
Draftable ‑ Draft Order Helper is likely more beneficial for wholesale businesses as it can handle custom pricing and specific order requirements more easily through its draft order management features. OC Quantity Breaks Order Limit could complement it if the wholesale business also wanted quantity-based discounts.
Which app is better for boosting average order value (AOV)?
OC Quantity Breaks Order Limit is specifically designed to boost AOV by incentivizing customers to purchase larger quantities to unlock discounts. Draftable does not directly address AOV increase.
Is a perfect rating always better?
Not necessarily. While a 5/5 rating is excellent, a larger number of reviews, as seen with OC Quantity Breaks Order Limit, often indicates broader usage and a more reliable assessment of the app's performance. Fewer reviews can sometimes mean a newer app or one catering to a very specific niche.
Can these apps be used together?
Potentially. A merchant could use Draftable to create a draft order with a custom price and then apply quantity break discounts using OC Quantity Breaks Order Limit on that draft order if the customer met the quantity requirements. However, the integration and compatibility would need to be tested.
