Our Verdict
Given the current data, Shipping & Delivery - ShipZip is the clear choice for merchants who need advanced shipping rule customization and local delivery options. Its high rating and substantial number of reviews indicate a reliable and effective solution. ShipZip's advanced functionality is best suited for stores that have complex shipping needs and want to offer a range of delivery options. The Carrier Calculated Shipping API requirement indicates that some technical knowledge may be necessary to set up and use ShipZip effectively.
Dropp, with its lack of reviews and ratings, presents a significant risk. While it may potentially offer value, there is no data to support this claim. Unless Dropp undergoes a significant update with verifiable positive feedback, merchants are advised to exercise extreme caution or avoid it altogether. ShipZip's proven track record and comprehensive feature set make it a far more compelling option for merchants seeking robust shipping solutions.
Common Questions
Which app is better for stores with simple shipping needs?

Is Shipping & Delivery - ShipZip easy to set up and use?
While Shipping & Delivery - ShipZip's advanced features provide granular control, they also suggest a potentially steeper learning curve. The requirement of Carrier Calculated Shipping API also indicates that merchants may require technical knowledge or support during setup.
Can both apps handle international shipping?
The information provided does not explicitly confirm that either app supports international shipping. However, Shipping & Delivery - ShipZip's ability to set shipping rates by zipcode *could* be adapted for international locations if integrated with a reliable international shipping rate provider via the Carrier Calculated Shipping API.
