Dyna‑Pricing: Dynamic pricing vs Quick Quotefor Shopify (2026)
Dyna‑Pricing: Dynamic Pricing and Quick Quote offer vastly different approaches to pricing strategies on Shopify. Dyna-Pricing aims to automate price optimization using AI to maximize revenue and sell out inventory by a specific deadline, targeting merchants looking for hands-off profit maximization. In contrast, Quick Quote facilitates custom quote requests from customers, enabling merchants to offer personalized pricing and discounts. This is useful for scenarios where standard pricing doesn't fit or when negotiation is expected. The primary difference lies in control and interaction. Dyna-Pricing is automated and data-driven, with limited merchant input after setup. Quick Quote is manual and customer-driven, requiring merchants to actively review and respond to quote requests. Dyna-Pricing appears positioned for merchants with large inventories and time-sensitive sales goals, while Quick Quote is designed for businesses offering customized products or services, those selling to B2B clients, or those who prefer more personal pricing strategies. Ultimately Dyna-Pricing is a set-and-forget style app while Quick Quote requires manual work. Currently, Dyna-Pricing has zero reviews, which raises a significant red flag regarding its reliability and effectiveness. Quick Quote, on the other hand, boasts a perfect 5/5 rating based on 56 reviews, suggesting user satisfaction with its functionality and customer support.

Our Verdict
For merchants needing a fully automated pricing solution designed to maximize revenue with minimal effort and who are willing to take the risk of trying a new app, Dyna-Pricing might be a viable (albeit risky) option. The promise of AI-driven optimization is attractive but unproven.
However, based on the available data, Quick Quote is the safer and more reliable choice. It provides a valuable tool for merchants who want to offer personalized pricing and build relationships with their customers. Its high rating and significant number of positive reviews suggest that it delivers on its promises. If you sell products where negotiation is expected or if your business model involves offering bespoke services, Quick Quote is the stronger recommendation. In absence of any social proof for Dyna-Pricing, Quick Quote is the obvious choice.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Dyna-Pricing claims to be intuitive and simple to use, suggesting a quick setup. Quick Quote's setup might involve configuring email notifications, but is also likely straightforward, given the simple functionality.
Which app requires more ongoing management?
Quick Quote requires ongoing management since it involves manually reviewing and responding to quote requests. Dyna-Pricing, being automated, should require minimal ongoing intervention after the initial setup.
Which app is better for selling perishable goods?
Dyna-Pricing, with its stated goal of selling out inventory by a given deadline, is likely better suited for perishable goods. It adjusts prices to ensure items are sold before they expire. Quick Quote does not address the timeframe for sales.
Which app is more customer-centric?
Quick Quote is more customer-centric, as it allows customers to initiate the pricing process and negotiate with the merchant. Dyna-Pricing is more revenue-centric, focusing on maximizing profit regardless of individual customer interactions. If customers are unhappy with automatically increased pricing, Dyna-Pricing could lower customer satisfaction.
Which app is better suited for B2B sales?
Quick Quote is generally better suited for B2B sales, where custom pricing, volume discounts, and relationship building are common. Dyna-Pricing's automated approach might not be appropriate for the negotiation and personalized service often expected in B2B transactions.
