EA• Image & Page Speed Booster vs Sherpas: Smart SEOfor Shopify (2026)
EA• Image & Page Speed Booster and Sherpas: Smart SEO both aim to improve Shopify store performance, but they approach it from different angles. EA• Image & Page Speed Booster focuses primarily on front-end performance enhancements through image optimization, lazy loading, and preloading of pages and images. This app positions itself as a quick and easy solution for improving perceived loading speed and mobile performance, prioritizing the customer's browsing experience after the initial page load. It explicitly states it won't improve speed *scores* but *will* improve customer experience. Sherpas: Smart SEO, on the other hand, takes a more comprehensive SEO approach. It aims to improve search engine rankings, organic traffic, and ultimately, sales, by addressing various SEO factors, including meta tags, image optimization, page speed, structured data, and link management. While it shares some overlap with EA• Image & Page Speed Booster regarding image and page speed optimization, it uses AI for meta-tag generation and provides features for link management and structured data, making it a more holistic SEO solution. Sherpas: Smart SEO is geared towards merchants who need a complete SEO suite with automation and AI-powered features. Given the large review disparity, it's vital to investigate why EA• Image & Page Speed Booster has so few reviews; it might be very new or have a highly niche appeal.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with improving the browsing experience *after* the first page load and who want a super-easy setup, EA• Image & Page Speed Booster might be a good fit, assuming the low review count isn't a major concern and the preloading works as advertised. It’s important to test whether this preloading impacts server costs, however. For merchants looking for a more complete SEO solution that covers meta tags, image optimization, structured data, and link management with the help of AI, Sherpas: Smart SEO is the better choice, even with the caveat that a broad suite may have a steeper learning curve than a specialized app.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?

EA• Image & Page Speed Booster might indirectly improve traffic by improving user experience and reducing bounce rates, but its primary focus isn't on SEO.
Which app depends on AI?
Sherpas: Smart SEO uses AI (ChatGPT-4 Turbo) to generate compelling product Meta Tags & Alt Tags. EA• Image & Page Speed Booster doesn't mention any AI capabilities.
