Easy Edits vs XO Insert Codefor Shopify (2026)
Easy Edits and XO Insert Code both aim to enhance Shopify storefronts, but they address drastically different needs. Easy Edits is positioned as a user-friendly, AI-powered storefront editor targeting merchants who want to visually customize their website without coding knowledge. It emphasizes ease of use with click-and-change and drag-and-drop functionalities, as well as the power of AI to streamline the design process. Its strength lies in its ability to modify existing pages and themes directly, offering a quick and intuitive way to update the storefront's appearance and functionality. XO Insert Code, on the other hand, caters to merchants who need to add custom code snippets to their stores. It's a code insertion tool designed for users comfortable working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid. While it boasts ease of use, that ease applies primarily to the process of inserting the code itself, not necessarily creating or understanding the code. Its core strength is the flexibility to insert various types of code across different pages and sections of the store, a functionality crucial for integrating third-party services, custom styling, and tracking scripts. The large disparity in review count suggests XO Insert Code has a more established user base and addresses a common need for merchants with some technical knowledge.
