Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with sizing issues and offering size charts is their main goal, Easy Size Chart & Size Guide provides a targeted solution, though the low rating and few reviews should be considered. The app's focus on pre-built templates and ease of use is advantageous. However, merchants needing a more general solution for organizing product information and those already have extensive product descriptions should strongly consider Tabs Studio. Its superior rating, high number of reviews, and powerful features for managing product details make it the better choice for improving product page usability and aesthetics overall. Given the vastly different number of reviews, Tabs Studio appears to be the safer bet, even if size charts is only a small part of your needs.
Common Questions
Does Easy Size Chart & Size Guide offer more control over sizing data display than Tabs Studio?
Yes, Easy Size Chart & Size Guide is specifically designed for managing and displaying size information. It offers templates and customization options directly related to size charts, while Tabs Studio provides a more general framework for organizing product information, including size data if added to product descriptions or metafields.
Can Tabs Studio create size charts automatically?
Tabs Studio does not directly create size charts. However, if you have size information in your product descriptions (e.g., in headings or paragraphs), Tabs Studio can automatically generate tabs from those headings, effectively creating a tabbed section for size information. This requires your product descriptions to be already organized with size details.
Which app is easier to set up for a beginner with no coding experience?
Easy Size Chart & Size Guide is likely easier for beginners, as it offers pre-built templates specifically designed for creating size charts. Tabs Studio requires users to understand how tabs are generated and how to structure product descriptions or metafields, so requires more technical understanding up front.
Which app offers better SEO optimization?
Easy Size Chart & Size Guide explicitly mentions SEO optimization as a feature. Tabs Studio, while enhancing the user experience, doesn't directly claim to focus on SEO. Therefore, Easy Size Chart & Size Guide is more likely to improve SEO related to sizing information, however SEO is unlikely to be a deciding factor between the two apps since they solve different primary functions.
If I already have a robust size chart image, can I use it with either app?
Both apps can likely display your image. Easy Size Chart & Size Guide mentions adding images. Tabs Studio, if you upload the image to the product description, can display that tab with the image on the product page.
