EAZE WhatsApp Button vs Phoneize: Call+WhatsApp Buttonfor Shopify (2026)
Both EAZE WhatsApp Button and Phoneize: Call+WhatsApp Button aim to improve conversion rates by enabling instant communication between customers and merchants via WhatsApp or phone calls. EAZE WhatsApp Button, with a 4.6-star rating based on 146 reviews, offers a readily available and presumably well-tested solution. Phoneize, on the other hand, boasts a perfect 5-star rating, although based on a much smaller sample size of 9 reviews. Phoneize emphasizes its easy installation, theme compatibility, and customization options. A key distinction lies in Phoneize's explicit mention of offering both a WhatsApp chat button *and* a 'call us' phone button, while EAZE is only implied to support WhatsApp. Phoneize heavily markets its ease of use, highlighting a 'two-click setup' and no coding requirement, making it particularly appealing to merchants with limited technical expertise. The value proposition is clear: more calls + WhatsApp chats = more sales. EAZE's marketing focuses less on the setup process and more on the functionality of the WhatsApp integration itself. Given the review count, EAZE appears to have a larger user base, implying greater market presence and a track record, while Phoneize positions itself as a simple, customizable solution. Phoneize specifically focuses on floating button implementation.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing a proven solution with a substantial user base, EAZE WhatsApp Button is a safer bet, despite the lower rating and lack of detailed feature information. Its higher review count suggests it's a reliable option. However, for merchants seeking a specifically easy-to-install, highly customizable solution that includes *both* a WhatsApp button *and* a direct call button, Phoneize: Call+WhatsApp Button is the preferable choice, especially if they lack coding skills and desire maximum control over the button's appearance.
Ultimately, the best choice hinges on the merchant's specific needs and risk tolerance. If a seamless setup and prominent call button functionality are paramount, Phoneize is a compelling option. If a proven track record and general WhatsApp integration are more important, EAZE, despite the vague description, presents a suitable alternative. The small number of Phoneize reviews should be considered a risk factor.
