Echo Sphere vs Zigpoll Customer Surveysfor Shopify (2026)
Echo Sphere and Zigpoll Customer Surveys both aim to help Shopify merchants gather customer feedback, but they approach the problem from vastly different positions. Echo Sphere promises ease of use and a clean design for collecting general feedback across multiple pages, focusing on understanding customer "pulse" and turning anonymous shoppers into paying customers. In contrast, Zigpoll Customer Surveys is a more mature and feature-rich solution targeting merchants who want to leverage comprehensive surveys across multiple touchpoints (post-purchase, pre-purchase, email, SMS) and integrate survey data deeply with their Shopify store and marketing tools. Our Verdict
Given the current data, Zigpoll Customer Surveys is the clear choice for most Shopify merchants seeking a robust and reliable solution for gathering and analyzing customer feedback. Its high rating and numerous reviews indicate a proven track record. Its feature set, including advanced survey types, AI analytics, and integration capabilities, provides a comprehensive platform for data-driven decision-making. Echo Sphere, with its lack of reviews and a focus on simplicity, may appeal to merchants who are just starting with customer feedback and require a basic, easy-to-use tool. However, most merchants will likely find Zigpoll Customer Surveys to be a more valuable investment in the long run, offering significantly more functionality and a higher likelihood of generating actionable insights.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Echo Sphere appears to focus on simplicity and user-friendliness, likely making it easier for beginners to set up. Zigpoll Customer Surveys also boasts no-code setup, but with a wider range of features, the initial setup and customization may require more effort.
Which app is better for collecting detailed customer insights?
Zigpoll Customer Surveys is better for collecting detailed customer insights due to its advanced survey types (post-purchase, pre-purchase, NPS), AI analytics, and integration capabilities. Echo Sphere offers built-in categorization, but it seems to lack the depth of analysis offered by Zigpoll.
Does either app offer multi-language support?
Yes, Zigpoll Customer Surveys explicitly states that it offers multilingual support. Echo Sphere's description does not mention multi-language support.
Which app is more suitable for a large Shopify store with a complex marketing stack?
Zigpoll Customer Surveys is more suitable for a large Shopify store with a complex marketing stack due to its integration capabilities and advanced features like abandoned checkout campaigns and AI analytics. It's designed to handle more sophisticated survey strategies.
If I only want to collect basic feedback, which app is a better choice?
While more information about Echo Sphere would be needed, if simplicity and ease of use for gathering basic feedback are the only requirements, and if a merchant is comfortable with a zero-review app, Echo Sphere *might* be considered. However, the risk involved with a zero-review app is significantly higher compared to selecting the highly reviewed Zigpoll Customer Surveys.
