Our Verdict
For merchants requiring extensive control over product data and a safe environment for making changes across various product attributes, EditEngine Bulk Product Editor is the better choice. Its real-time previews and one-click revert offer a safety net that Importer lacks. However, if the primary concern is efficiently managing and updating product images using a CSV file and SKUs or product handles, Importer ‑ Bulk Images Import is a more specialized tool. The significantly lower rating and minimal reviews for Importer should raise a red flag, suggesting caution and thorough evaluation before adoption. It is crucial to test with a sample before committing to a paid plan.
Common Questions

Based on the provided description, EditEngine focuses on editing existing product data but does not specifically mention bulk image uploading as a primary feature. Importer is specifically designed for this task.
Is EditEngine more suitable for large product catalogs than Importer?
EditEngine's advanced filtering and progress tracking suggest it is designed to handle large catalogs effectively, allowing merchants to target specific products within a large inventory. Importer's suitability for large catalogs depends on the robustness of its CSV processing capabilities, but the description does not offer sufficient details to make a strong claim.
Which app is easier to use for non-technical users?
