eesel AI vs Kustomerfor Shopify (2026)
eesel AI and Kustomer both aim to enhance customer support for Shopify merchants, but they approach the problem from different angles. eesel AI focuses on providing immediate, AI-powered support through a chatbot trained on the merchant's specific data, enabling automation of routine tasks and instant handling of common inquiries. Its core strength lies in its AI sales agent and instant support capabilities, appealing to merchants who want to automate customer interactions and provide 24/7 assistance. It offers integrations with popular platforms for marketing, support, and logistics. Kustomer, on the other hand, positions itself as an AI CRM, emphasizing a holistic view of customer data and streamlined support across various channels. Its focus is on understanding the customer deeply and providing personalized experiences. Kustomer centers around efficiency and a full view of the customer and order data through Shopify integration. It's ideal for businesses prioritizing a comprehensive customer relationship management approach. The fundamental difference is their core technology. eesel AI uses an AI chatbot as its primary tool to drive both sales and customer service. Kustomer, however, relies on an AI CRM. Kustomer uses AI to create and manage a whole view of the customer, while eesel AI uses AI to automate communication and free support agents from having to handle common requests. Also, eesel AI has zero reviews while Kustomer has a perfect score, according to twenty-four customers, making Kustomer an already trusted app to deliver on its promises. Therefore, these apps fulfill the needs of differing merchants based on their customer service models.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking to primarily automate customer service through an AI-powered chatbot and drive sales, eesel AI might seem appealing, especially with its integrations and customizability. However, the lack of reviews makes it a risky choice in 2026. Kustomer, with its perfect rating and multiple reviews, provides a safer bet for merchants prioritizing a comprehensive AI CRM system offering a full customer view and features like direct order management.
In conclusion, unless eesel AI gains traction and positive reviews by 2026, Kustomer is the recommended choice for merchants seeking a proven solution for managing customer relationships and streamlining support operations. Eesel AI might be considered by very early adopters comfortable with the risk of an unproven app, especially if chatbot-driven sales automation is a critical need.
