Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on visually showcasing their products and creating an engaging shopping experience through lookbooks, EM Lookbook - Shop by Gallery is the better choice. This is especially true for brands where visual storytelling is crucial. However, for merchants seeking a comprehensive solution to improve their store's SEO performance, drive organic traffic, and boost sales, Sherpas: Smart SEO is the superior option. The AI-powered automation and extensive feature set provide a significant advantage, particularly for those without deep SEO knowledge. Given the higher review count and focus on measurable ROI (traffic, rankings, sales), Sherpas offers broader appeal for most Shopify merchants in 2026. If visual merchandising is not a core strategy, the ROI from Sherpas will likely be greater.

Which app offers a better return on investment (ROI)?
Sherpas: Smart SEO is more directly tied to ROI through increased organic traffic, higher search rankings, and ultimately, sales.
