EM SelectPro ‑ Product Compare vs Smart Size Chart & Size Guidefor Shopify (2026)
EM SelectPro - Product Compare and Smart Size Chart & Size Guide, while both categorized as 'Product comparison' Shopify apps, address entirely different needs. EM SelectPro focuses on enabling customers to directly compare product specifications and features, aiming to facilitate informed purchasing decisions. Its strength lies in its customizable comparison table and the ability to highlight specific product attributes. In contrast, Smart Size Chart & Size Guide is tailored to apparel, shoe, and accessory retailers aiming to reduce returns by helping customers find the right fit. Its value is centered around customizable, brand-consistent size charts displayed in multiple languages. Given the difference in functionality, there's little overlap in target audiences. EM SelectPro is suitable for merchants selling products with numerous technical specifications (e.g., electronics, appliances), where side-by-side comparisons are beneficial. Smart Size Chart is applicable when sizes matter (e.g., apparel, shoes). A critical consideration is the existing user feedback. EM SelectPro has zero reviews, indicating it may be new or unpopular, while Smart Size Chart has a perfect 5/5 rating with over 100 reviews, signaling established reliability and user satisfaction.

Our Verdict
Smart Size Chart & Size Guide is the clear winner for merchants selling products where sizing is crucial, thanks to its established reputation, strong user reviews, and tailored features. Its multi-language support and template variety add further value. EM SelectPro - Product Compare might be a viable option for merchants selling products with detailed specifications, *if* they are willing to take a risk on an unproven app. The lack of reviews is a significant drawback; potential users should thoroughly evaluate it before committing. Therefore, for merchants selling size-dependent products, the recommendation is unequivocally Smart Size Chart & Size Guide. For merchants selling complex specification products, additional research into competitors is warranted. The absence of user validation for EM SelectPro is a significant red flag.
Common Questions
Which app better increases sales?
Both apps claim to increase sales, but for different reasons. EM SelectPro aims to increase sales by helping customers make informed decisions, while Smart Size Chart does so by reducing returns due to incorrect sizing.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on the app descriptions and reviews, Smart Size Chart is likely easier to set up and use, as indicated by its claim of easy installation and management, coupled with positive user reviews. EM SelectPro's ease of use is unknown due to the lack of reviews.
Which app is more customizable?
Both apps offer customization options. EM SelectPro allows customization of the comparison table design and the addition of custom fields. Smart Size Chart focuses on the visual design of size charts with options for images, colors, and fonts. The 'better' choice depends on the merchant's specific needs.
Is Smart Size Chart useful for businesses that sell electronics?
No. Smart Size Chart is specifically designed for apparel, shoe, jewelry, and pet retailers where sizing is important. It is not relevant for electronics or other products where size charts are not applicable.
If I sell apparel and electronics, do I need both apps?
Potentially. If you want customers to compare apparel features, EM SelectPro may be useful, although its lack of reviews is a concern. However, you would definitely need Smart Size Chart to help customers find the right clothing size.
