EngageBay CRM vs ExpressText Connectfor Shopify (2026)
EngageBay CRM and ExpressText Connect, while both earning 5-star ratings, cater to distinctly different needs of Shopify merchants in 2026. EngageBay CRM positions itself as an all-in-one platform encompassing marketing, sales, and support functionalities, aiming to provide a comprehensive customer relationship management solution. It emphasizes features like marketing automation, customer interaction tracking, and customer support service enhancement. On the other hand, ExpressText Connect specializes in SMS marketing, focusing on subscriber data synchronization, customer segmentation, and personalized text messaging campaigns. Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking a comprehensive solution to manage their entire customer lifecycle – from marketing and sales to customer support – EngageBay CRM is a more suitable choice. Its all-in-one approach provides a unified platform to streamline operations and personalize customer interactions across multiple channels. However, merchants specifically looking to leverage the power of SMS marketing and prioritizing ease of use and hands-on support should opt for ExpressText Connect. Its specialized focus and reported 'white-glove' service make it an attractive option for those seeking to drive engagement and sales through targeted text messaging campaigns. The significant difference in review count suggests ExpressText connect is more established or at least has more active users providing feedback.
