Our Verdict
The choice between these apps hinges on the core pricing strategy. If a merchant needs to simply display VAT-inclusive and VAT-exclusive prices to different customer segments, particularly in European markets, Enhance: VAT Dual Prices B2B is the clear choice. Its strength lies in automating and clarifying price presentations based on location, product, or customer tags.
However, if the business requires a more interactive and flexible pricing model where quotes, negotiations, and discounts are commonplace, Quick Quote is the superior option. This is particularly relevant for B2B sales, custom orders, or situations where standard pricing doesn't suffice. The higher review count on Quick Quote may suggest a broader appeal or longer market presence.
Common Questions
Which app is better for handling VAT in the EU?
Enhance: VAT Dual Prices B2B is specifically designed to handle VAT for B2B and B2C customers, making it the better choice for EU businesses dealing with varying VAT rates and customer types. Quick Quote does not directly address VAT issues.
Can Quick Quote display VAT-inclusive and exclusive prices?
No, Quick Quote is designed for generating custom quotes, not for displaying dual pricing based on VAT. It focuses on enabling customers to request specific prices.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Enhance: VAT Dual Prices B2B likely has a simpler initial setup, focused on configuring tax rules and display preferences. Quick Quote might require more configuration to manage quote requests, email notifications, and pricing discounts.
If I offer volume discounts, which app is better?
Quick Quote is more suitable for handling volume discounts. It allows you to incorporate those discounts into custom quotes, offering a more personalized pricing strategy. While Enhance could display different prices based on customer tags (which *could* be used to signify volume), the process is less direct than Quick Quote.
Can I customize the appearance of the dual prices displayed by Enhance: VAT Dual Prices B2B?
Yes, Enhance: VAT Dual Prices B2B allows you to customize the font size, price color, and background color of the dual prices to match your brand's aesthetics.
