Enorm Ask a question vs Kustomerfor Shopify (2026)
Enorm Ask a question and Kustomer are both Shopify helpdesk apps, but they cater to very different needs and operate on vastly different scales. Our Verdict
For small businesses or individual entrepreneurs primarily concerned with addressing pre-purchase questions directly on their product pages, Enorm Ask a question offers a straightforward and affordable solution. Its focus on simplicity and ease of use makes it a good choice for those who don't need a full-blown CRM. The email notification system provides a simple way to manage customer inquiries.
However, for larger businesses with more complex customer service needs and a desire for a comprehensive CRM solution, Kustomer is the clear winner. Its AI capabilities, multi-channel support, and deep Shopify integration provide a powerful set of tools for managing customer relationships and improving the overall customer experience. The ability to process refunds directly from the Kustomer timeline and leverage chatbot templates is a significant advantage for larger operations.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Enorm Ask a question is likely easier to set up due to its simpler feature set. Kustomer, with its comprehensive CRM functionality, will require more configuration.
Which app is more scalable?
Kustomer is designed for scalability, with its robust CRM features and ability to handle a high volume of customer interactions across multiple channels. Enorm Ask a question may become less efficient as the number of products and questions increases significantly.
Does Enorm Ask a question offer multi-channel support?
Based on the description, Enorm Ask a question primarily relies on email notifications and direct answers on the product page for support. It does not appear to offer multi-channel support like Kustomer.
Can Kustomer be used for pre-sale questions like Enorm Ask a question?
Yes, Kustomer's multi-channel support and AI features can certainly be used to answer pre-sale questions, but it might be overkill for that specific purpose if that's the *only* requirement. Kustomer offers a wider range of capabilities beyond just Q&A.
Which app is better for a new Shopify store?
For a new Shopify store with limited resources, Enorm Ask a question is a more practical and affordable option. As the store grows and customer service needs become more complex, transitioning to Kustomer might be a worthwhile investment.
