Our Verdict
For merchants experiencing a high volume of order change requests and cancellations, EOE - Easy Order Editing is the clear choice. It directly addresses the problem by empowering customers to self-manage their orders. It is valuable for stores where order accuracy and minimizing support tickets are crucial. On the other hand, Fly: Bundles & Quantity Breaks is the better option for merchants aiming to proactively boost sales and increase AOV. It provides the tools to create compelling offers and incentivize customers to purchase more items, making it ideal for stores focused on maximizing revenue per transaction.
Common Questions
Can customers use both apps simultaneously?
Yes, the apps address different phases of the customer journey. A customer could, in theory, benefit from Fly's pre-purchase bundle offers and then later edit their order with EOE if needed.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
EOE is likely easier to set up as it focuses on a single function: order editing. Fly, with its range of bundling and discount options, will likely require more configuration.
Which app offers better long-term ROI?
It depends on the store. If order cancellations are a significant drain, EOE will provide a solid ROI by reducing support costs. If increasing AOV is a bigger priority, Fly is likely to deliver a higher return.
Do these apps integrate with other marketing tools?
The provided information does not detail specific integrations with other marketing tools, but it is expected that both apps should integrate smoothly with Shopify's core functionality and API.
What if I need both features?
Evaluate your current business needs. If post-purchase order changes are a major issue, prioritize EOE. If increasing AOV is the primary goal, choose Fly. Consider adding the second app later if the need arises, though assess any potential conflicts.
