Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing security and controlled customer access, particularly those operating B2B, wholesale, or exclusive stores, ES Customer Approval is the more suitable choice. It offers the ability to vet new customers and prevent spam, albeit with a potentially more complex onboarding process. However, the low rating and single review are serious concerns.
WebPanda Contact AutoResponder is a better fit for merchants seeking to enhance customer communication and provide immediate feedback after form submissions. Its simplicity and focus on automated email responses make it a valuable tool for improving customer service across a broader range of Shopify stores. Given its high rating and numerous reviews, it appears to be a reliable and well-received solution for automating email replies.
