ESC Wishlist + Save for Later vs Love Loyalty Program & Rewardsfor Shopify (2026)
ESC Wishlist + Save for Later and Love Loyalty Program & Rewards, while both touching on customer engagement, cater to distinctly different aspects of the customer journey and target different merchant needs. ESC Wishlist focuses narrowly on encouraging immediate purchase by making it easy for customers to save items for later viewing within the cart. Its core value proposition lies in facilitating impulse buying and minimizing lost sales due to indecision or lack of immediate readiness to purchase. Love Loyalty Program & Rewards, on the other hand, takes a broader approach by building a long-term customer relationship through a comprehensive loyalty program. The key difference lies in their scope. ESC Wishlist addresses a very specific point in the sales funnel, while Love Loyalty Program & Rewards aims to influence repeat purchases and foster customer loyalty across the entire customer lifecycle. ESC Wishlist appears aimed at merchants struggling with cart abandonment or indecisive shoppers, while Love Loyalty Program & Rewards targets businesses seeking to increase customer lifetime value and build a stronger brand community. Given the considerable difference in user reviews, it's clear Love Loyalty Program and Rewards resonates better with its target audience.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a quick and easy solution to address cart abandonment and provide customers with a simple way to save items for later, ESC Wishlist + Save for Later *might* be a consideration, but its extremely low rating and minimal reviews are a significant red flag. Proceed with extreme caution and consider alternative wishlist apps. For businesses serious about building a long-term customer loyalty program with a wide range of features and integrations, Love Loyalty Program & Rewards is the clear choice. Its high rating, numerous reviews, and comprehensive feature set indicate a well-regarded and effective solution.
Love Loyalty Program & Rewards is the recommended app for most Shopify merchants due to its focus on long-term customer relationships and demonstrably positive user experience. It offers a comprehensive suite of tools for building loyalty programs, from earning points to redeeming rewards, and supports various customer engagement strategies like VIP tiers and referrals. Given its breadth of features, it justifies a potentially higher investment compared to the more narrowly focused ESC Wishlist app.
