eShipz || Shipping Software vs EZLabel: Australia Post Shipfor Shopify (2026)
eShipz || Shipping Software and EZLabel: Australia Post Ship cater to distinct segments of the Shopify shipping app market. eShipz is positioned as a comprehensive, multi-carrier solution targeting merchants who require integration with a diverse range of couriers beyond a single postal service. Its strengths lie in its wider geographical reach (supporting couriers such as FedEx, Blue Dart, DHL, etc.), advanced features like reverse shipment management, NDR tracking, and automated notifications. It's geared towards businesses looking for robust automation and analytics. EZLabel, on the other hand, focuses exclusively on streamlining shipping through Australia Post's MyPost Business platform. Its simplicity, highlighted by its "two-click" label printing process and emphasis on ease of use, makes it ideal for Australian businesses primarily shipping domestically and internationally via Australia Post.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants predominantly shipping within Australia using Australia Post MyPost Business, EZLabel: Australia Post Ship is the clear winner. Its focus on simplicity and automation of Australia Post-specific tasks will save time and streamline their operations. Conversely, if a merchant needs to ship internationally, requires support for multiple carriers, needs advanced features like reverse logistics management and comprehensive analytics, or operates outside of Australia, eShipz || Shipping Software is the superior choice, despite having fewer reviews. The crucial factor is the courier and geographic scope of the shipping needs.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use?
EZLabel prioritizes ease of use, boasting a two-click label printing process. eShipz offers more functionality, which could lead to a steeper learning curve initially.
Which app supports international shipping?
Both apps support international shipping. However, eShipz does it through a variety of carriers, whereas EZLabel focuses on international shipping through Australia Post only.
Which app is better for a high-volume business?
eShipz, with its automation rules and real-time analytics, appears better suited for high-volume businesses that need to optimize their shipping processes across multiple carriers. However, EZLabel might scale well for high volume businesses exclusively using Australia Post.
Does either app support thermal label printers?
EZLabel explicitly states support for thermal label printers. eShipz doesn't explicitly mention thermal printers but likely supports them given the label printing feature and target audience.
Which app is more cost-effective?
Without pricing information, it's impossible to determine which app is more cost-effective. A merchant needs to evaluate the pricing plans of both apps in relation to their specific shipping volume and feature requirements.
