Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on increasing their average order value and overall sales through strategic incentives and product suggestions, Essential Free Shipping Upsell is the clear choice. Its customizable progress bar and upsell features provide a direct path to revenue growth. However, if a merchant's priority is gathering specific information from customers during the checkout process – such as delivery instructions, gift message options, or required customization details – Required: Cart page fields is the more suitable solution. It allows for the creation of required fields, ensuring that merchants receive all necessary information to fulfill orders accurately. The low review count for 'Required' might indicate it's newer, or caters to a niche need.
