Our Verdict
If the goal is to increase Average Order Value and incentivize customers to spend more to qualify for free shipping, Essential Free Shipping Upsell is the clear choice. Its focus on cart customization, progress bars, and upselling directly addresses this objective. The higher number of reviews also suggests wider adoption and potentially more robust functionality.
However, if the primary concern is streamlining the checkout process, hiding irrelevant payment methods, validating checkout data, or addressing shipping challenges, Simesy Hide Payment Methods is the better fit. Its rule-based system for controlling payment and shipping options provides the flexibility needed to create a smooth and secure checkout experience, reducing fraud and improving customer satisfaction. The lower review count suggests it may be a newer app or serve a more niche audience.
