Essential Free Shipping Upsell and Wi Buy Now: Add to Cart Button are both Shopify apps in the 'Checkout, Cart customization' categories with perfect 5/5 ratings. However, they address fundamentally different aspects of the shopping experience. Essential Free Shipping Upsell focuses on incentivizing larger purchases by using a free shipping progress bar and cart upsells to increase Average Order Value (AOV) and overall sales. It targets merchants looking to subtly encourage customers to spend more. Wi Buy Now: Add to Cart Button, on the other hand, streamlines the purchasing process by offering sticky and customizable 'Add to Cart' and 'Buy Now' buttons designed to improve conversion rates by making it easier for customers to initiate the checkout flow. Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with increasing their average order value and are willing to leverage strategies like free shipping incentives and upsells, Essential Free Shipping Upsell is the clear choice. Its established user base and features directly target revenue generation through AOV growth. However, if the priority is to optimize the shopping experience by making it as easy as possible for customers to add items to their cart and proceed to checkout, Wi Buy Now: Add to Cart Button is the better option. Its focus on sticky and customizable buttons caters to improving cart conversion rates.
Ultimately, the choice depends on the specific challenges a store faces. A store with a high bounce rate on product pages might benefit more from Wi Buy Now, while a store with a decent conversion rate but low AOV would find Essential Free Shipping Upsell more beneficial. It is important to remember that 'Essential Free Shipping Upsell' seems to have a larger user base with extensive features while 'Wi Buy Now' seems to be geared towards smaller stores that require instant solutions.
